If you connect a brokerage account, the access granted is not read-only: it permits this software to read balances and positions and to place, modify and cancel orders in the accounts you authorise. You may revoke that access at any time from your broker's account security settings. Signing out within this software removes stored credentials from your browser but does not by itself revoke the grant at your broker.
Your trading data is stored in your own browser, and in your own Google account if you enable the optional sync. See the Privacy Policy for details. No guarantee is made against loss or corruption of that data; keep your own backups.
